Sweet Sesame Tuna

with hoisin and noodles

This is a really simple, quick and tasty dish. It's also essentially a "one-pot" dish so there's not too much washing up to do afterwards!

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the spring onions and garlic
  2. Slice the mushrooms
  3. Cut the tomatoes into 1/8's
  4. Pour out 1/2 mug of water from a boiled kettle
  5. Add the soy sauce, honey and hoisin sauce to the water
  6. Open the tuna and noodle packs

Cooking

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a wok and fry the onions and garlic for about a minute.
  2. Add the mushrooms and tomatoes and fry for another minute.
  3. Add the sauce mix to the wok and cook for a further 30 seconds.
  4. Add the noodles and tuna and heat through for just 30 seconds. Don't stir too much to keep the tuna from going mushy.
